Sunny Florida

Well, here I am, Sunny, yes, but cool. According to the forecast, it should get up to 70+ by the weekend. The life of the retired is busy, busy, busy. I'm here visiting friends for two weeks and we have had something going on every day. I think we'll finally be able to get down to some sewing by Friday. Tomorrow is the "Original Sewing and Quilt Expo" in Tampa, of course we are going.

We were treated to the sight of a pair of Florida Sand Cranes trying to talk with their reflections in one of the residents windows. When they tired of that, they took a short walk across the road to the greens of the clubhouse and finally went back to the windows to see if those reflections would talk back instead of ignoring them. Photo maybe later tonight, we have to leave in a short while for the Cookout.

Tonight is the cookout and potluck, then back to the house to watch the Olympics until midnight.
